Double and twin rooms are for private use and charged as double occupancy (i.e. 2 persons). The discounted backpacker rate is offered to BOTH BBH and YHA cardholders.

Late check-ins up to 10pm may be possible with prior arrangement and are charged at $10 per person.

*Prices subject to change without notice. During peak season/holiday periods, surcharges may apply and weekly rates suspended for non-existing customers. Surcharge of $3 per night applies from the weekend prior to Christmas Eve and the weekend after New Year's Day.

We have excellent long term rates for Working Holiday Travellers! We accept cash and EFTPOS (NZ Bank Card). 

Plenty of FREE PARKING! Lots of fixed pillars to secure bikes too!

For your safety and security, we require valid photo ID for everyone checking in- only passports, national ID cards (in English) or driving licenses accepted. We are unable to check-in anyone under the age of 18 unless accompanied by their parent or legal guardian- if a booking is made on behalf of an unaccompanied minor, they may be referred to the police on arrival.

We have female-only share rooms available.

We aim to provide a safe, clean and restful environment for our guests.  We enforce a 10.00pm shutdown- absolute quiet and no alcohol. We have ZERO TOLERANCE towards excessive alcohol consumption, noise and rowdy behaviour at all times. Measures are actively taken to ensure this, including random spot checks at any time of the night and we encourage feedback from our guests. We reserve the right to evict anyone without refund at any time for behaviour we deem inappropriate. Illegal drugs will not be tolerated and random drug dog searches WILL be carried out from time to time.

BOOKING POLICY:

All bookings must be secured with a credit card or your booking may be released to walk-in customers. Cancellations or changes must be made at least 24 hours before the DATE of your arrival or one night's accomodation charged. No-shows will be charged for the entire period booked. We require valid photo ID for all check-ins (passports, driver licenses or national ID cards). By making a reservation, whether by email, phone or online, you accept these booking conditions. When booking by phone, it is your responsibility to clarify the booking conditions, as providing us with your credit card details constitutes acceptance of our booking policy. If booking for a date within 48 hours of arrival, please CALL instead of emailing.
